WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF JU-JITSU, THE ANCIENT ART OF THE JAPANESE SAMURAI

Ju-Jitsu, Japanese for "compliant techniques", momentarily yields to an attacker's force, redirects it, and returns with a counter-attack.

The Scottish Ju-Jitsu Society offers you the opportunity of high quality training in the Japanese Martial Art Of Ju-Jitsu.

Learn restraint and locking techniques. Learn to punch, kick and throw. Learn to grapple and remain effective on the ground.

Training is undertaken in a disciplined and controlled environment.

As Ju-Jitsu utilises skill rather than strength and brute force, this martial art is open and accessible to all.

Whether your looking to develop your martial arts knowledge and skills, for self defence, for improved fitness and health, or to increase your awareness and self confidence then the SJJS opens its door to you.

Places are now available for the novice or those with previous martial arts experience (written enquiries and spectators welcome)
